How to give back: Upcoming volunteer opportunities

It's summertime, so why not go to camp? Here are some volunteer opportunities to consider for June, courtesy of Volunteer Memphis.

June Summer Camp Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at local youth and teen camps over the summer is truly an unforgettable and life-changing experience. Talk to any volunteer and nearly everyone will say that they get more out of serving at summer camps than they give. The opportunity to directly help children and their families to laugh, create happy memories, and connect with other families is magical.

June 1 - July 3 | Neighborhood Christian Center: NCC Summer Day Camp includes recreation activities, continued learning, special field trips, and more. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve meals, facilitate activities, serve as chaperones for off-site activities, and more. Sign up here.

June 8 - 12 | Memphis Botanic Garden: Start your summer digging into the fun of uncovering the secrets of the garden by volunteering at Garden Goodies Caterpillar Camp for ages 4 to 5. Sign up here.

June 15 - 19 | Memphis Botanic Garden: Grab your curiosity and a magnify glass to take a closer look at the great outdoors by volunteering at Outdoor Explorers Camp for ages 8 to10. Sign up here.
