Soulsville Metals Collaborative shows student art

The Soulsville Metals Collaborative will display student work at Hattiloo Theatre on Dec. 8. The student artists will showcase handmade jewelry, holiday ornaments and art pieces made through the fall semester.

The SMC program is a partnership between Knowledge Quest and the Metal Museum for high school aged students. Throughout the program the students learn how to weld, cast, saw metal, rivet and enamel. The students make work using these techniques and incorporating art and design elements and principles.
