Have a young child at home? Join the Lit Families webinar, Sept 24, for tips on reading at home.

The Early Literacy Consortium is inviting all Memphis-area families with elementary-age children to their Lit Families: Back to School webinar session on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

The 90-minute webinar was designed to help families learn about and use various at-home literacy supports as students return to school. Families will get real-world strategies and guidance on ways to make at-home reading engaging, impactful, and fun. Topics covered will include homework help, social-emotional learning, tutoring tips, family learning, and more.

Shelby County Schools, the University of Memphis, First 8 Memphis, and Literacy Mid-South are among the presenters.

The webinar is presented by First 8 Memphis, Stand for Children, Arise2Read, Literacy Mid-South, and Shelby County Schools.
