Organic entrepreneurs ready for new locations

Longstanding health food store The Good Life Honeysuckle Health Foods store is making a move. For the past 30 years, the small supplement and natural goods shop has been on 3179 Poplar near Marne Street. Dr. Steve Lubin, who has owned the business for ten years, is prepping for an opening in a suite in a 3364 Poplar office building.
 
"It's a better landlord, better visibility. Hopefully it's all going to pan out and be a better location," he said.

At 800 square feet, the new store is around the same size as the previous location and the offerings will not change. A grand opening will take place August 3
 
The owner of Cosmic Coconut is bringing a new business to Memphis. 
 
At the beginning of August, Scott Tashie be the newest franchisee of Nashville-based I Love Juice Bar. To open at 553 South Cooper at the corner of Carr Avenue, I Love Juice Bar will sell smoothies, juices and healthy snacks. The offerings are similar to independently-owned Cosmic Coconut, but Tashie said that the two will ultimately complement each other. 
 
Over the next six months, he's going to be working on giving East Memphis Cosmic Coconut a face-lift. "It's going to be given a new identity. Everything will change. It'll kind of be a whole new concept," he said.
 
When the Midtown store is up and running, Tashie will start in on the next expansion. He said he already has locations picked out for I Love Juice Bars in Germantown and Collierville, and he recently visited to check out the market in Oxford, Miss. 
He's also looking forward to the presence of the Green Machine Juice Mobile.The vintage VW bug will cruise around Memphis selling juices.
