Six more lucky non-profits stand to win $15K

Monogram Foods, a leading manufacturer, distributor and marketer of ready-to-eat jerky and other meat snacks is announcing IMPACT10--a new charitable giving campaign.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Monogram has created IMPACT10 to give away $150,000 to 10 charities over 10 years. IMPACT10 recipients are selected by random drawing and each winner will receive a total of $15,000.

So far, four local non-profits have been selected; Boys and Girls Club of Crittendon County, Ave Maria Home, New Day Children’s Theater, and, most recently, HER Faith Ministries.

The mission of HER Faith Ministries is to empower homeless and needy women, protect children and strengthen families.

“We will use this money to provide basic needs for women,” said Elaine Sanford, Executive Director of HER Faith Ministries.  “We can’t just talk about empowering women if they don’t have food and basic needs; we provide these basic needs that allow them to take care of themselves.”

Nominations of deserving charities can be submitted through the IMPACT10 website by clicking here. The fifth winning charity will be selected by random drawing on March 18, 2015 with five additional drawings to take place each Wednesday through April 22.
