Pediatric dental practice expands into Midtown

The Children’s Dental Center, an area pediatric dental practice that was launched over ten years ago, is opening a new office in Midtown in March of this year.

The business opened their new office on Houston Levee in Germantown less than a year ago, but demand for services prompted the expansion.

“Our new office has grown so quickly that we knew it was time to add another location. Midtown is a booming area right now with lots of young families and great schools, so we believe it is the perfect fit!” said Leah Raich, Marketing Coordinator for the practice. Raich will also help run the new Midtown office once it opens.

The office space at Poplar and Belvedere, formerly an art studio, is currently undergoing a $1M renovation.

Dr. Chris Rowland, one of the three pediatric dentists at the practice, lives in the Midtown area and led the effort in choosing a new location. “He had been scouting out different locations for a while. We will be the only pediatric dental practice in the Midtown area,” Raich said.

The practice is growing its employee roster with the expansion, working to staff the needs of the new office. “We will be hiring new staff, either to replace those from the Houston Levee office who transfer to Midtown or to start fresh at the new office,” added Raich.

The doctors at Children’s Dental Center are all Pediatric Dental Specialists, focusing on the treatment and prevention of dental disease and the overall oral health of children. Their extra training and certification enable them to uniquely treat the dental needs of infants, children and teens.
