More grocer options are now available in midtown. The Curb Market, located in the former Easy-Way location on Cooper St., opened to the public today.
The store promises to locally source its food, meaning meat, produce and dairy products will come from farms within a 100-mile radius of Memphis. The food is also being marketed as chemical-free. Through The Curb Market, shoppers can support local growers and vendors in addition to buying quality, healthy products – some of which they can’t get elsewhere.
The business is owned by Peter Schutt, who owns The Daily News Publishing Co
. as well as two local farms in Dancyville and Whiteville, Tenn. Memphis-based creative firm Farmhouse was responsible for the store’s marketing.
The 2,500-square-foot space will be open from 8am to 7pm six days a week, closed on Sundays.
